WorldExtend® offers IronDoor 3.5™ (a hosted service), IronDoor 3.5 Enterprise™ (a robust solution for enterprises that wish to host all of their remote access software), and both are available in Ø-Port and Ø-Listener configurations . The WorldExtend servers that act as the “brokers” or "gateway" for your secure communications are redundant, highly-available, and have negligible downtime. They are located in a data center within the central exchange of a major U.S. city that serves more than 20 carriers that is also the data center for the data-security specialist Sungard.
Minimum system requirements for the IronDoor™ Agent:
- 800 MHz Pentium III processor better
- At least 256 megabytes (MB) of RAM. 512 MB recommended
- Windows XP SP2 or higher, Windows 2000 Server SP3 or higher, Windows Server 2003 SP1 or higher
- If utilizing application publishing and remote desktop, Terminal Services is required.
- Microsoft .NET Framework version 2.0 (available at: http://support.microsoft.com)
- An external TCP/IP address accessible over the public Internet. (This does not have to be a “static” IP address).
Remote user requirements:
- Windows Vista, Windows XP SP2 or higher, Windows 2000 SP3 or higher, or Windows Server 2003 SP1 or higher
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 SP1 or higher
- Internet Explorer options that allow signed ActiveX controls to be loaded. (All WorldExtend ActiveX controls are digitally signed with our corporate certificates).
