"WorldExtend goes one step better; you can define a remote connection to your computer, but just to a single directory on your disk drive if you want. This means you can give access to your files, or at least a subset of your files, to others without fear they'll start searching around your computer while in the driver’s seat."

VPN Tunnels
Any of the functions available through the WorldExtend® IronDoor™ Launch Pad can be transacted through a VPN tunnel. The administrator of the IronDoor™ Agent can specify what functions, by user profile, require the use of VPN tunnels. Instead of directly connecting to your network through the Internet, your connection is established through a WorldExtend® SSH (Secured Shell) server. The SSH protocol encrypts all incoming requests from remote users and outgoing transmissions from your network server so that your data is constantly defended against any threats.
- Specify what functions require a VPN tunnel.
- Use tunnels to increase security on file shares, legacy system access, email transactions, database access, FTP and other traffic.
